DO NOT talk to your landlord on the phone EVER. Request that all communication be in writing. Address concerns in writing (email is OK). Do not make any oral agreements. Do not attend any in-person meetings.
DO NOT sign a new lease, new House Rules, Key Memorandum, W-9 form, or Tenant Update Information sheet before getting advice about it first. You do not have to sign them immediately and you do not have to agree to new rules that are materially different from your old lease. Get all agreements in writing.
DO NOT allow your landlord to harass you in accepting money to move out. The amount they give you will not make up for the increased rent you will pay somewhere else.

DO NOT allow anyone representing the landlord or management to enter your apartment if they fail to first serve you with a メ24 hour notice to enter.モ You can say you are busy and request that all communications be in writing. DO NOT assume that you must move out simply because you have been given an eviction notice. CitiApartments frequently issues eviction and other notices that will not stand up in court. Please seek counseling immediately.
DO NOT allow videotaping or recording of you or your apartment.

DO get help immediately. There are a number of tenant organizations that can assist with harassment and other problems, and that can refer you to an attorney if necessary.
